What is an OPG X-Rays?

OPGs are a type of x-ray technology that can capture a panoramic x-ray of both the upper and lower jaw including all the teeth.

The OPG X-Ray machine is designed to rotate around the head during a scan so as to get a complete view of the jaw structure. OPG X-Rays can used to identify:

  • Teeth Structure
  • Fractures
  • Infections
  • Planning of Surgical
  • Treatment (such as implants)
  • Dislocated Jaw

A dental OPG provides our dentists with a complete view of the jaw with a more accurate layout of the teeth, thus allowing them to achieve great results from your treatment.
