Good oral health doesn’t happen by accident, it’s built on consistent, preventive care. At Doncaster Dental, our general dentistry services are designed to keep your teeth, gums, and overall oral health in excellent condition at every stage of life, from your child’s first visit through to adulthood and beyond.
Our experienced dental team, Dr Jamie Do, Dr Brendan Moore, and Kate Jolly, take a thorough, patient-first approach to every appointment, taking the time to understand your concerns, explain your options, and deliver high quality care in a warm, comfortable environment.
We serve patients from Doncaster, Templestowe, Doncaster East, Balwyn North, Bulleen, Box Hill North, Blackburn North, and surrounding areas.
A regular check-up and clean is the foundation of good oral health, and one of the most important investments you can make in your smile. We recommend attending every six months, allowing our team to monitor your oral health, remove plaque and tartar build-up that brushing can’t reach, and catch developing issues such as tooth decay and gum disease early, before they become costly or painful to treat.
Our standard check-up includes a comprehensive oral exam, professional scale and clean, fluoride treatment, and digital X-rays where indicated.

We love seeing young patients at Doncaster Dental. Our team creates a welcoming, positive environment where children feel safe and comfortable, laying the foundation for a lifetime of good oral health habits.
From a child’s very first dental visit through to their teenage years, we provide age-appropriate preventive care, guidance for parents on nutrition and oral hygiene, fissure sealants, and monitoring of dental development. We also bulk-bill eligible children under the Medicare Child Dental Benefits Schedule (CDBS), ask our team when you call to book.
Teeth grinding and jaw clenching (bruxism) is more common than most people realise, and many patients are completely unaware they’re doing it. Left unaddressed, bruxism can cause significant tooth wear, chipping, jaw pain, headaches, and sensitivity.
A custom-fitted nightguard from Doncaster Dental is made from impressions of your own teeth, providing a precise, comfortable fit that protects your teeth and jaw joint while you sleep. Unlike over-the-counter guards, a custom appliance is designed to distribute bite forces evenly, offering far superior protection and comfort.
Root canal treatment has an undeserved reputation. With modern anaesthesia and techniques, the procedure is no more uncomfortable than having a filling, and it’s the most effective way to relieve the severe pain caused by a tooth infection while saving the natural tooth.
Root canal treatment is required when bacteria reach the inner pulp of a tooth, typically as a result of deep tooth decay, a broken tooth, or trauma. Our dentists remove the infected pulp, clean and shape the root canals, and seal the tooth, usually followed by a crown to protect and restore the tooth’s full function.
Snoring and obstructive sleep apnoea are far more than an inconvenience. Left untreated, sleep apnoea can increase the risk of high blood pressure, heart disease, stroke, and type 2 diabetes, and significantly impacts quality of life for both the patient and their partner.
At Doncaster Dental, we provide custom-fitted Mandibular Advancement Splints (MAS), oral appliances that gently reposition the jaw during sleep to keep the airway open and reduce or eliminate snoring and apnoea episodes. They are a comfortable, non-invasive alternative to CPAP machines for patients with mild to moderate sleep apnoea.
Wisdom teeth, the third molars at the back of the mouth, often don’t have enough room to erupt properly. Impacted wisdom teeth can cause significant pain, swelling, infection, and damage to adjacent teeth if left untreated.
At Doncaster Dental, we perform wisdom tooth extractions in-house under local anaesthetic, with options for sedation for anxious patients. We use digital X-rays and OPG imaging to assess the position and angle of the wisdom teeth before any treatment, ensuring a safe and well-planned procedure with a smooth recovery.
For patients wanting to straighten crooked or misaligned teeth without traditional braces, clear aligner treatment offers a discreet, comfortable, and removable alternative. Custom-made transparent aligners gradually shift teeth into their ideal positions — with minimal impact on your daily life and appearance.
We invest in the latest technology to make your treatment more accurate, comfortable, and efficient. Our practice features digital dental X-rays and OPG imaging for precise diagnosis with minimal radiation, miniaturised intra-oral cameras for detailed examination, and CEREC technology for same-day crowns and restorations, all under one roof.

Yes. Doncaster Dental welcomes patients of all ages, including young children. The team is experienced in gentle, child-friendly dentistry and helps build positive associations with dental visits from an early age. Eligible children are also bulk-billed under the Medicare CDBS.
A nightguard (occlusal splint) is a custom-fitted appliance worn during sleep to protect teeth from grinding (bruxism) and clenching. If you wake with jaw pain, headaches or notice worn tooth surfaces, you may benefit from one. Your dentist at Doncaster Dental will assess this at your check-up.
Yes. Doncaster Dental offers mandibular advancement splints (MAS) — custom oral devices that gently reposition the jaw during sleep to keep the airway open, reducing snoring and mild-to-moderate obstructive sleep apnoea. This is an alternative to CPAP therapy for some patients. A referral or sleep study may be required.
Not all wisdom teeth need removal. Doncaster Dental recommends extraction when they are impacted, causing crowding, decay, infection or pain. Digital X-rays at your check-up allow the dentist to monitor their position and advise the best course of action.
