Teeth can be damaged, decayed, or lost for a range of reasons, and when they are, the impact can go beyond appearance. Missing or compromised teeth can affect your ability to chew and speak comfortably, may cause remaining teeth to shift out of position over time, and can contribute to bone loss in the jaw. For some people, this can also affect day-to-day comfort and confidence.
Tooth fillings are the most common restorative treatment, used to repair cavities caused by tooth decay and restore damaged or chipped teeth to their natural shape and function.
At Doncaster Dental, we use tooth-coloured composite resin fillings exclusively, no amalgam (silver) fillings. Composite resin bonds directly to the tooth structure, looks completely natural, and allows us to be more conservative with the amount of healthy tooth we need to remove. It’s suitable for cavities of all sizes and can also be used to repair minor chips, cracks, and worn edges.
Modern composite fillings are durable, mercury-free, and virtually indistinguishable from a natural tooth. They’re completed in a single appointment in most cases.

Dental crowns are custom-made caps that fit over a damaged, weakened, or heavily restored tooth to protect and restore its full shape, strength, and function. They’re recommended for teeth that are too damaged for a filling alone, including teeth that have broken, been treated with root canal therapy, or are severely worn from grinding.
Dental bridges replace one or more missing teeth by anchoring a false tooth (or teeth) to crowns placed over the natural teeth on either side of the gap. A bridge is a fixed, permanent restoration, cemented in place and functioning like natural teeth.
Doncaster Dental is equipped with CEREC technology, allowing us to design, mill, and fit a permanent ceramic crown in a single appointment, with no temporary crown and no second visit required.

Dental implants are the gold standard for replacing missing teeth. A titanium implant post is placed directly into the jawbone, where it integrates with the surrounding bone to create a stable, permanent anchor. A custom-made crown is then attached to the implant, producing a result that looks, feels, and functions exactly like a natural tooth, right down to the root.
Unlike bridges or dentures, dental implants preserve jawbone density, require no modification to adjacent teeth, and are cared for exactly like natural teeth.
Doncaster Dental offers complimentary dental implant consultations including X-rays for patients considering implant treatment. View our current specials →

Dentures are a removable tooth replacement option for patients who are missing several or all of their teeth. Modern dentures are significantly more comfortable, natural-looking, and well-fitting than older generations of the appliance, and remain a practical, cost-effective solution for many patients.
At Doncaster Dental, we provide both full dentures (replacing an entire arch of teeth) and partial dentures (replacing several teeth where some natural teeth remain). Our dentures are custom-fabricated for each patient to achieve the best possible fit, appearance, and function.
For patients seeking greater stability and confidence, implant-retained dentures, anchored to dental implants in the jaw, are also available. Ask our team for more information at your consultation.
Restorative treatments address the outcomes of a wide range of dental conditions. If you’re dealing with any of the following, our team can help:
Tooth Decay | Broken Teeth | Missing Teeth | Gum Disease | Sensitive Teeth | Teeth Grinding | Impacted Wisdom Teeth
We invest in advanced dental technology to ensure our restorative treatments are as accurate, comfortable, and long-lasting as possible.
CEREC Same-Day Crowns — our CEREC milling unit allows us to design, fabricate, and fit a permanent ceramic crown in a single 1–2 hour appointment. No temporaries, no second visit, no waiting.
Digital X-Rays & OPG Imaging — low-radiation digital X-rays and full-jaw OPG scans provide detailed images of teeth, roots, bone, and surrounding structures, essential for accurate diagnosis and treatment planning, particularly for implants, root canal treatment, and complex restorations.
Intra-oral cameras — miniaturised cameras allow us to show you exactly what we’re seeing inside your mouth, so you understand your treatment and can make fully informed decisions.
Comprehensive restorative care under one roof. From single-tooth fillings to full-mouth reconstruction with implants, all restorative treatment is performed by our experienced team at 838 Doncaster Road, no referrals to external specialists in most cases.
CEREC same-day crowns. Most practices require two appointments and a temporary crown for a crown restoration. At Doncaster Dental, CEREC allows us to complete the entire process — design, mill, and fit — in a single visit.
Natural-looking results. We use high-quality ceramic and composite materials that closely match the colour, texture, and translucency of natural teeth. Restorations are designed to blend seamlessly with your existing smile.
Experienced dental team. Our dentists, Dr Jamie Do, Dr Brendan Moore, and Kate Jolly, bring extensive experience to every restorative procedure, from straightforward fillings to complex implant cases.
Interest-free payment plans. Restorative treatment, particularly implants and extensive crown work, can represent a significant investment. Interest-free payment plans are available to help spread costs over time. Speak with our team for details.

Yes. Doncaster Dental uses CEREC (Chairside Economical Restoration of Esthetic Ceramics) technology to design, mill and fit a permanent ceramic crown in a single appointment — usually 1–2 hours. Unlike traditional crowns, there is no need for a second visit or a temporary crown. CEREC crowns are strong, durable and colour-matched to your natural teeth.
The titanium implant itself is designed to be permanent; the crown on top may need replacement after 15–25 years depending on wear. Doncaster Dental will advise you on care and maintenance at your consultation.
Most adults with good general health and sufficient jawbone density are candidates for dental implants. Factors that may affect suitability include heavy smoking, uncontrolled diabetes and certain medications. Doncaster Dental conducts a thorough assessment — including an OPG X-ray — to advise you at a consultation.
Doncaster Dental uses tooth-coloured composite resin fillings, which blend seamlessly with your natural tooth and contain no mercury. Amalgam (silver) fillings are not used at this practice. Composite fillings are suitable for most cavities and can also repair chipped or worn teeth.
A dental crown covers and protects a single damaged tooth. A dental bridge replaces one or more missing teeth by anchoring an artificial tooth to crowns placed over the natural teeth on either side of the gap. Both are fixed restorations permanently cemented in place at Doncaster Dental.
